Fitts For Fight
A Norwegian band who have stolen various videos and music files from Micromusic artists and passing it off as their own. They have generally added a few song lyrics to the song before releasing it. They have even played festivals and gigs on the back of these thefts. Micromusic are trying to get them to remove their songs, with moderate sucess.

Timbaland
8bitandtheotter / Ninetendo! / 1800GAMEBOY / TSK / The Sixteenth Hour / Whatever the fuck else he's been in the past 6 months
The above are the creations of a Singapore kid by the name of Shafie (or Mitch, or Shfe, etc).
Originally, he claimed a friend had hacked his MySpace and his 8bc page; Uploaded a song by IAYD [1] and claimed it was his. He named it Party Mix 2009 and cut off around 1-2 minutes of the track. He also uploaded music by MC Firedrill and other artists to his Ninetendo! MySpace. He paid for pretty massive play counts, (120,000 plays), and somehow accumulated 25,000 profile views in only 2 weeks of the MySpace page going up. This MySpace page no longer exists.
He constantly tries to return to the chipmusic scene with "original" music, new aliases, new MySpace profiles and new msn addresses. He also continues to buy MySpace plays to keep his accounts looking legitimate.
If you see a new artist coming out of West Singapore, it's most likely him.

Fame Boy / Ricky Romance Dance
Started off as Ricky Romance dance, he uploaded a Zepsi song and claimed that he made it and paid for MySpace plays. Scared that he was found out, he changed his name to Fame Boy and is still active and supposedly releasing "original" content. He's also paid for MySpace plays under his new alias.

Snuggums
Mr Snuggums uploaded four 8bitpeoples tracks to his MySpace, without due credit. The tracks are as follows:
- BabyKapow = Random - Sitges Savepoint
- Squirtman = Rushjet1 - Konamized
- Earwax = Phlogiston - Cyber-Axe Café
- Ptiew = Nullsleep - Her Lazer Light Eyes
The funny thing is that he enabled downloading of "his" songs which also revealed traces of the original ID3 tags.
t0ny
Stole an album's worth of material from ZX Spectrum artist MmcM and passed it off as his own with great initial success before being uncovered by C-Jeff.
