Testing out my new soundcard, EMU 1616m PCI, routing the NES Mic in signal into FL Studio for effects, then back out through an external analog compressor, then back in to record.

  • cTrix : yeah - analog compressor is the way to go. I've got a dbx comp / eq on my C64 and it chunks things up nicely, plus you can tweak and ride real knobs for the sections that don't need as much ratio. Works well.
