<center>well hello again, friends. <br> <br>here's a tune. it has a story behind it. <br> <br>as some of you know... i've been technically homeless for the past month. <br>some dear friends have taken me in, and im okay. <br> <br>long story short, i was evicted from where i was staying with no explanation and no say in the matter. <br>i had nowhere to go.<br> <br>this song was done as an attempt to let out some of the immense stress that was bearing down on me throughout the whole process, and of the anxiety and uncertainty that was weighing down on me. <br> <br> <img src="http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg291/tehscreamokid/Picture1-8.png"><br> image by zamboni.andrea <br> <br> <br>oh, and sorry for the stories. <br>i just wanted to add a personal touch, and give some insight into the meaning of the song :) <br> <br>if you like it... well, you know what to do :) <br> <br> <br><b>MIXED BY THE INCREDIBLE GOATSLACKER</b> <br> <br>

  • Cryptosystem : Not aimed to be complex is hardly an excuse. Something can be complex and still be boring, something can be not complex and still be boring. It's a matter of repetition. Things need to change after a while. This main little progression you have going on is repeated throughout the whole song. That prominent bassline never changes up. At about 1:05, the snare comes in, and I can start feeling the build up. There was all this build up, all for what? To drop out again. The kick drum comes in. It gets faster. To what? To drop out again. Alright, here it goes. This time is it. Kick drum gets faster. Wait a minute. It comes back into the main progression, but nothing has really changed. A sound or too was added. It's building up to nothing. The main progression plays out till the end of the song, where everything drops out at once. Couldn't you have thought of a better ending? It's boring. I suppose I'm just one person, though. The rest of SmileTronCollective is eating it up according to the likes.

  • Focus Punch! : really like the unexpected changes to the melodies and instruments. the panning's pretty good. not too fond of the noise snare but i just dont like noise snare's anyway in most songs :p im not sure about this being the top song either in my oppinion. its a cool track but i just think it didnt deserve top. good job though, keep em comin!:)

I was looking around at stuff because I like to do that with music to see how real life syncs up with music I listen to. Then I caught a glance of a tree blowing in the wind in time with this song, it was quite an experience :)

As far as being homeless is concerned... been there. A few times. In truth...most of the time it was uncomfortable, but it gave me a lot of time to think about what to and what not to take for granted.
