  • Able Archer : Can't dance to it, needs drums and lows. Some nice things going in the high end though. It's not so much that you've layered too much stuff on, more that what keeps the beat tight and driving in the original has been replaced by splooshy, muddy noise kicks and snares. With all those channels surely you could spare one for a real kick sound? Use a KIT sample or the WAV channel.

  • sloopygoop : Thanks for the feedback! Definitely not aiming for a minimalist sound on this one. I wanted something that would be full and groovin'. There's a lot more going on here than in the original, granted, but I like to think that's due to it being my variation on the material :D

  • NOROCK : Yeah maybe it's the FL addict in me speaking here, but I love that tons-of-channels sound. Great tune.

  • Shonentune : I agree, to be honest. I think you missed the point of "minimalism". Though it does sound like an actual full band of 8bit, lol. If you redid it with two dmgs maybe, it would rock hard.

  • Kid_Flyaway! : i agree, 3 DMGs are not needed for this track

  • an-cat-max : holy shit. the 3 dmgs is excessive and ruins it

  • Lynit. : I like the fat sound, but all the mass of tracks you created don't mesh together very well. With better mixing, this could really be something :)

  • Deepearthvoid : if your gonna use 3 DMG's at least make the drums FAT. (ps this is still really badass and full sounding)

  • Guardia : The more the better, I thought?

  • godinpants : I think the amount of tracks kind of make it difficult to listen to. It's a good track, and probably done a lot better than anything I do, but with all the layers going on it's really hard to tell whats going on. Maybe it needs to be mixed better or something, but right now it's hard to single out a sound.
