hey guys :) just thought id stick this up so people have some idea of what im upto recently. this is a remake of one of my first tracks 'epica' contains nanoloop, vocals, drum samples and a few cheeky synths ;) this will be one of the darker songs from the new album so dont worry there are still some happy anthems! :D oh and no hatemail from purists please ;) ENJOY THIS CHEEKY SAMPLE! (not the finished product btw) xx

  • smiletron : end is a bit heavy. and yeah the arps are major instead of minor. didnt really bother me that much though. i dont mind the autotune on the vox cuz it is done properly, rather than rapper-style where it is all over like five different pitches. i actually think it is done really really well :D all in all, quite excellent.

  • Beware : I don't really dig this, so I'm not gonna bother saying anything about the actual track (that would be useless since I still wouldn't really like it), but I did NOT dig the vocals one bit. Far too much auto tune and your vowels are far too nasally. I know this isn't the finished product so I suggest lowering the amount of auto tune to about 30% auto tune to 70% clean vocals. Also, for your singing, breath deeper and lower (from your diaphragm), drop your jaw, raise your soft palette (raising your eyebrows helps) and don't allow your self to stick your chin up/out on the high notes. I promise I'm trying to help here, not be an ass.

  • chunter : I'm surprised there's so much polarity (like vs. don't like) expressed here. zabutom is right; your chip-isms are not on key with the rest of the tune, and get lost in the mix. This mix needs a bit more warmth between 400 Hz - 2000 Hz and basically needs a bit more going on in it. Otherwise, it's a decent demo of a pop tune.

Especially when its just a solid beat with a sample of your voice repeating. The lyrics are quite nice too. Im surprised how good this is man. keep it up!

  • Dexter : haha, i didnt mean to sound so critical, im just a critical person and because its not the finished product i wanted to point out all the flaws that i found. i can hear some soun that sounds a bit like a wav when you sing "i found so cold" or something liek that. the bass just sounds a bit over sidechained, you might want to change the envelope so it comes back in at the time of a offbeat bass rather than just after.
