Horses with fake legs

Uploaded by noisewaves on November 9th 2009, 06:00 PM

Hey Dudes, heres another unfinished demo I dug up from the archives.

I remember trying to experiment with time signatures in this one, and probably moved on because I didnt have the patience to finish. It takes a while to build up, so give it a little bit.

What do you guys think? Does it have any potential? What should add/subtract from it? Thanks!

 • FearofDark : I really liked it towards the end. I felt the bass could've done a little more, but I loved the time signatures and the way it builds up. Nicely done:)

 • bullet flu : Man, this is so good... I think one measure at the beginning could probably be taken away and the first time it really kicks in (around 1:28) needs to go sooooo much longer. I would just carry that for awhile. The second time it kicks in and goes really crazy at 2:00 is good but I personally like the somewhat more spaced out heavy feel of the first time it kicks in a lot better. I would extend that and mess with it a little bit to make it go like a minute. Umm, just my opinion. Definitely some of the best stuff I've heard recently anyway.

 • Colonel_Eyeball : first off.... title is amazing... I don't know what it is about it, but I'm madly in love with the title... and the progression is very appropriate for a horse with fake legs and all the hurdles it must face... haha.... I'm liking it a lot, it does take a while to get into it, but it's worth it for the epic main meat.... I love when the epic main meat chills out for the bridgey part... the noise crackle is a great touch!!!! I wouldn't change a bit in this song... it's great on it's own.... mmmmmmaybe extend the faster meatier parts... but then again their shortness has a great charm.... so ya.... I like it... what did ya program in?
