  • Mootz : Nice ideas, but it sounded like you just took a break and slapped it over the melody. If you want to keep that classic jungle sound without delving too much into the breakcore genre, you can try rearranging the beat instead of chopping the hell out of it. All things considered, I still think this is a good song.

  • bitmuch : yeah what swampy said! this is nice...try to instigate a bit more of a 'drop' when the drums come in (possibly breaking down the melodies to just the bass and then bring in another melody when the drums come in, or whatever suits your style), and for the drums, start with moving around where the kick falls in every bar to create some variation, then play with the snares and hats accordingly...at the moment the kick comes in on beats 1,2 and 6, so try and cut up the break and piece it back together, starting with the kicks, then the snares, then fill it up with the hats, and make every bar different!..i hope that makes sense- i think this is a really nice style and it could be really awesome ^_^
