Kwakalicious

7th place in Famicompo. Congrats to Chibitech, Zabutom, Xaimus (dendrite is so ridiculous and awesome!), Coda and smh! This song's point was to use the VRC7 expansion chip expressively (it has 50k of pattern data!) and shows off mukunda's awesome it2nsf converter! The thing is loaded with effects like detuning, vibrato all over the place, note delays and so on. (people say it sounds like a Genesis song so I might have overdone it :D )

  • Pompei : I thought this was qualo at first, because of the title. Though I haven't heard of you until now, I do remember enjoying this on famicompo. :)

  • tssf : Mukunda does great work. Your music showcases that brilliantly. It must be hard using IT2NSF though. Lots of trial and error right? Or, did Mukunda provide a demonstration IT with the software like he did with S3M2NSF? Anyway great work!

  • Blitz Lunar : best example of VRC7 i've heard to date to be honest! you had me thrown for a loop thinking it was Joshua Morse, at least in the first parts. this tune is about 5 miniature songs in one.
