Garble House

Uploaded by henryhomesweet on November 6th 2008, 12:47 PM

Yo 8bc! This is a track made with a Nintendo DS running Pocket Music GBA. There's a fucking insane amount of post processing and editing done to this but every single sound used has been recorded from pocket music and nothing but pocket music. x

  • gypsum : this is very well done and put together. those tones all sound straight out of a boom box at an early to middle nineteen eighties break dance festival. also, i'm reminded of gloria estephan and the miami sound machine.

  • henryhomesweet : Cheers guys! Teh, i thought the same thing man. I was completely against pocket music Gba when i first got it. I didnt touch it for about 2 years, i thought it was a waste of money and was all up for giving it away at one point! I am really glad i didn't because it's actually really not that bad! Especially the piano roll which is superb (I have a soft spot for piano roll editors :P) . I can see why it's overlooked though, it's sample based and the majority of samples are weak and low in volume. But they have that gritty Lo -Fi edge to them and with a bit of boosting up pocket music Gba becomes a lovely little tool :)
