Reboot (SEGA MegaDrive)

Uploaded by benanderson89 on March 19th 2009, 09:44 AM

A new SEGA Megadrive song, I felt I was due to make another. Although it's emulated I stayed within the Megadrive's limits. 5 monophonic FM channels, 1 monophonic PCM channel @ 15khz 8-bit, 4 PSG channels (3 square, 1 noise). I used VOPM for the FM Channels, The Fruity FPC for the PCM sample playback, mdaDegrade to crunch the PCM samples, the 3xOsc for the PSG channels and SAM64 for the vocal sample. Enjoy! :)

  • benanderson89 : Glad everyone likes it so much :D @Random: Yeah put that down to emulation error. It should've been mono. Not centred stereo.
    on March 19th 2009, 03:03 PM
  • Random : Awesome as usual! --- However, the noise hi-hats in the beginning sound as if they were wide in stereo (not panned, but rather spread out) - why is that? I might be wrong, but perhaps this could be achieved using the actual hardware, if not, it's a limitation emulation error :)
