(SEGA Megadrive) Clear Blue Waters

Uploaded by benanderson89 on April 24th 2009, 10:39 AM

BEST. SONG. EVER... At least my best song so far... 6 Channel SEGA Megadrive Music with an extra 2 channels coming from the PSG chip. I used VOPM for the FM Channels and my SN-EMU for the PSG. No samples were used, the drums are 100% synthesized with VOPM! That kick is thick when you open up the decay a little. ENJOY, COMMENT, DOWNLOAD AND SO ON!!! =D

  • benanderson89 : @Thi: They sound authentic because thats how I programmed them. Simple enough... VOPM is also a YM chip emulator so it's as close to authentic as you can get in regards to VST emulation of the 2612.

  • Jredd : Man, those are some bad ass FM drums. I can especially appreciate the work put into them from working with programs like TFMaker. VOPM is impressing me more and more and I think I'll have to download it one of these days. Great track. Very authentic.

  • swampyboy : a lot of chippers do come from the uk, its just most of us are hated by the yanks for making 'trance'. this song is beautiful, the drum sounds are so good. love that crunchy snare. i dunno if its the title or the sega synths or both but it reminds me of ecco.
