Classic chip + 80's. It sounds like you have heard it 100x before, doesn't it ? My first try with those modern things called 'VST".

  • big-fat-mad-man : Yes it's a nice try, very great try, but i think you should never use VST's again, create as you can, don't use that stupid plugins, no one of them can sounds like a standart classic tracker! ...*wait* *wait* *wait* Epic! *echo* *echo* *echo* :)

  • Ultrasyd : Thank you Rez, I'm happy to know that you like it, as I've been a huge fan of your work and of your chiptune archive for years. The irony is that it's the only song I made with VST (ym and a bit of the Farbraush) instead of real hardware or classic tracker :D

  • rez : Exactly the kind of I like :) Well, THAT IS REAL chiptune!

  • Jredd : This song rocks! Also, I challenged you to a 48 hour challenge. Check the stickied thread called (48 hr challenge) in the 8bc commons forums to see what it is :).

  • Ultrasyd : Right! You mean the c command for LSDJ, but x command in maxYMiser, 0 command in Fast Tracker 2, Skale Tracker and Renoise xD There is an other software that uses the c but I don't remember wich one... And thank you all for the comments !

  • µB : This forum gets a little confusing sometimes for those of us who don't speak lsdj :P
    on May 18th 2009, 11:08 AM
  • Ultrasyd : ... what is the C command ? Arpeggios ?
    on May 18th 2009, 11:01 AM
  • NOROCK : With enough automation and emulation you can get something that SOUNDS like a C command! Cool track, ultrasyd! ymVST has to be my favorite chiptune plugin. It just makes such killer noises!

  • smiletron : do chiptune vsts have a c command? :P
    on May 18th 2009, 09:31 AM

  • AlexLuthor : Nice work, I esp liked the break with the cold synth in the back. Not sure about the panning but it sure is catchy.

  • electrodreams : hehe I was just playfully joking. besides I am way to shy to sing on any ones tracks but my own. I used to sing on them alot but I decided to get a regular singer because I hate my singing voice... I wish I could sing haha
    on May 17th 2009, 04:13 PM
  • Ultrasyd : Thank you, it was supposed to be just a test song but finally I found it not so bad. You are right : ymVST, Fr V2... Started with Cubase but then I discovered Renoise, which seems to be great, even if it's a demo version. Electrodreams, I let you record some vocals, I won't try again with singing, hell no :D

  • electrodreams : mmm I love that bass freaking awesome. love the description, now all you need are stereotypical 80's goth vox. everywhere I go I think of her I think of her what would..happen if..we..tried.. one more time would the heavens fall for her ....sorry I got carried away
    on May 17th 2009, 03:56 PM
  • µB : Aww man that's so classic- not liking it is impossible. Sweet melody going on, love the pwm bass and that octave jump on the melody instrument. Is that ymVST? Sounds awesome!
