No Holds Barred (RAW LSDJ)

Uploaded by The JelliFysh on January 24th 2009, 12:37 PM

My 3rd attempt at a song in LSDJ. The quality isn't as good as I'd like but the WAV file is about 63MB so I can't upload it here. This song is quite long but try to LISTEN TO THE END OR AT LEAST PAST THE INTRO MELODY because I think the breakdown at the end is the best part. Comment constructively + enjoy :)

  • sloopygoop : Hmm, I've tried that before and the volume wouldn't stay constant and it was just bad. But I probably need to try it with a newer cord. Btw, the quality here didn't sound too bad to me.

  • The JelliFysh : Thanks for the feedback sloopygoop, I kind of think it sound chaotic but sort of works somehow XD To record it I used a standard 1/8" to 1/8" stereo cable and plugged it directly into the "Stero In" port of my computer. I think it has a blue ring. The quality you can get from it is flawless, this sounds nowhere near as good as the WAV file version which I hope to post up somewhere so people can have a listen to it, there is only the issue of the sheer size of it.

  • sloopygoop : That was impressive, and I love how complex it sounds in so many of the sections. If this came straight from your DMG...please tell me, how did you record it?

  • The JelliFysh : Lol swampyboy thanks for the advice, I laughed so hard at your finishing comment XD It does get quite crazy at some parts. I'm disappointed that I can't get this up in better quality cause it sounds sick straight from my DMG.

  • swampyboy : very danceable, great stuff! sounding very euro. i like the dnb riddim. breakdowns are nice. my only criticism is the noise channel's a little too loud and i would prefer a less tinny/more crunchy snare sound. overall an awesome track, i would definitely dance to this! quite violently i might add
