Uploaded by Jredd on January 11th 2010, 01:48 PM

My first new upload for 2010! This song uses various Capcom Instruments from SNES games. I tuned the samples and tracked them with mod plug. I hope you guys enjoy this one. 16 bit power!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRv45DXKqn4

  • CosmoBuggi : As i have said, i swear this song sounds very Final Fight 3-ish. If anyone has played that game, you'd know what i'm talking about. ;)

  • Nario : I like it!! The song reminds me of Panic Puppet Zone Act 1 from Sonic 3D Blast on the Sega Saturn.

  • Edward Shallow : Reminds me of Genesis bass riffs, a kin to Maximum Carnage, with what sounds like is going to reach the Mortal Kombat theme. I like.

  • FearofDark : This reminded me of your upload Star Runner. Pretty well done with modplug, and I liked the fast pace and the energy in this.

  • Jredd : Thanks you guys! I should mention that it is only my 3rd song ever with mod plug and then of course there's how this was more of an experiment with new sounds that ended up sounding better than I expected. Then, of course trying to tune some of these samples correctly can be a major pain in itself to where the tracking part becomes the easy part. Ha ha, but yes as I get better with the program I'll have to make some longer tunes. Thanks so much for the feedback regardless. If someone wants a song of mine to be longer, I figure it must be pretty good if they want more. :D

  • AlexLuthor : absolutely loved that guitar part and the accompanying bass line is badass. I agree with JonnyNero about the length though.

  • JonnyNero : This reminds me of Top Gear. Not the TV show, the best racing game ever made on...what else...the SNES. I've always loved that bass tone, and wish I knew how to use it in my own music. Might need to ask you about it. The only thing I'd say is that , I wish it was longer. That's the only thing I never liked about VG soundtracks. People always loop a track a couple of times, almost just to make it "worth listening to on an album." Not saying that's what you are doing, but I still want this to go somewhere, not just back to the beginning

  • RestingTornado : Oh, nicely done. I like it, it does have the vibe of something in a Megaman themed fighting game. Which they should have done, there are enough characters ^_^

  • GSmith : oh yeah baby, this is real nice. i gotta talk to you about some of these instruments! i just finished a chill penguin remix, which i'm waiting until sunday night to upload, due to the one week wait time. i uploaded all those tracks so quickly because i don't really care about them, it's old stuff, but when i release new material i'll be sure to wait the week so that i can get everyone's feedback. thank you very much for the supportive comment, have a listen to some of my other stuff!
