FM Cyber Hunters

Uploaded by Jredd on December 29th 2008, 04:00 AM

Here is my second attempt at something with the newest TFMaker program. I am still composing short songs because these songs are more like tests that eventually turn into small tunes a little bit at a time. This song is much more experimental with the effects than my other one and has an overall darker feel. I'm still making my own instruments rather than using presets so that I have my own sound and style. I hope you like this one and all comments are appreciated.

  • Jredd : That's why I try to wait, even so it still can be difficult at times. You just got to work hard on a song and wait for the comments to slowly trickle in. Or you could make a chip album and try to get an internet chip label to endorse it which I mzy try and some point. Thanks for the feedback man, I appreciate it :-).

  • Jredd : Very good point! I do like the sounds of existing instruments and modifying those to your liking is certainly creative as well I just find making my own to be quite satisfying for the moment but that doesn't mean I'd be opposed to using what others have created necessarily. The tip about how my guitar insturment was a little harsh is very helpful as I do not have earphones to test it out. I'll have to be more mindful of that in the future. Thanks for the help man I appreciate it. :)

  • AlexLuthor : hehe, kicking your ass? Hardly so, I think this is very good. It's pretty creative and it's got a great rhythm section. Only thing that could really use some work imo is the guitar-like instrument which makes the ears bleed in headphones. Also about the instruments, I respect that approach and agree with it but I'll just say it is such a time saver to grab some existing ones and tweak them into what you want. More often than not it's how you use the instrument and not how it's "built" anyway. Looking forward to a longer track :)
