This is my introduction to chiptune, so I put in a special treat in one part of the song to all the game fans out there who love music. This one is dedicated to the master Random. Sensei!

  • Random : Haha, thanks for the props! Also, cool tune :) I have no idea who you are, but you obviously have ears enough not to make your Game Boy sound like a muddy wall of porridge - like most LSDJ beginners (and some veterans) do. Good melodies, full with fun and nice ideas... I'll keep an eye on you.

  • Dr. Isac Sinbad : Well don sir i see great things for your future. you have great use of tables and cpomands for a newby. almost too good. Are you a demo crew or something. you have to have done more music this was way to well structured to be anybody's first chiptune or music.

  • The JelliFysh : Lol I have a GCSE in music and done my grade 5 theory and I still make appalling songs XD it all falls straight out of my head :/ I like this, I agree with the comments about the kick though.

  • microchip : Absolutly love this. I agree with CCIVORY about lowering your kick though. Getting some sick sounds for your first, and sounds like you know some theory (which seems quite rare around here nowadays..). Downloading for sure

  • CCIVORY : i wish the zelda reference either matches with the song progression or uses the original. put your kick at a C5 rather than a C6 or 7, i can tell when you transpose

  • Beware : Not bad. Not bad at all. It was really loud though. And it REALLY could have done without the LoZ song towards the end (and I'm a HUGE LoZ fan). It just didn't add anything to the tune. I'd say pull that out, develop the melody a little more and give it a proper ending. The energy of the ending fading out doesn't match the great energy the rest of the track has. Good work.
