  • Chipso Facto : bleep bleep!!!

  • cTrix : Compressor chaos... ;-) Although at loud volume I actually thought it sounded ok (pumps a bit). The start is fuckin' tight and a mad track - much love - but I think the appegs and later lines take over the mix a bit and the bass / main theme gets a little buried. Great production values though. Very rounded.

  • themediashow : There's something in here reminiscent of Ratatat's Wildcat, and also of some old Eno-y things, which tickles me. I'm with µB to some extent, though -- the volume twiddling (or maybe it's the panning) makes me a little seasick.

  • arfink : Waaa, misfitchris, this is yours? Nice stuff I guess, but I agree the compressions is wayyy OTT. And house is cool, but I like more chill house, honestly. Less compression and more flow would be better.

  • µB : Hum. Filter house isn't my cup, really. I've got nothing against slight compressor pumping in general, but that Daft Punkish "monkey on the volume knob" thing makes me dizzy. That aside, the random arps didn't sound especially engaging, i thought. If you're going for the radio friendly unit shifter approach, why not all the way and add a catchy hook a la deadmau5 instead? It's well produced, such as it is, although I think you went over the top with the compression even for that genre.

  • Deepearthvoid : Is it the VSTs themselves that are controlling the arp slides and pitch bends or is it your production software? maybe im just not skilled enough, but i feel like im missing something in my arsenal...this is brilliant. i will most definitely throw this into my DJ sets from now on.
