Found a track i made last year, but drums were shit. So what'd I do? Got drunk and set Drumkit From Hell loose on it.

  • Chupathingy : RevProt - I can see where FTF is coming from. FruityLoops is a program that many people use, but few use to its full potential. You just have to know how to use it. Then again, I can safely say that I started using FL BEFORE it was cool. ftf - don't mean to sound rude, but there's the option to add external samples and plugins for a reason :) FL isn't bad, you just need to break away from the default sounds. Don't explore the patches, make your own. Give it another shot, because even when I thought it sucked, I didn't give up, and look what I can do with it now!

  • Reverend Protocol : Very awesome! I gotta disagree with the comment about FL Studio from FTF, though. I mean, yeah, if you use default modes on the default plugins, it's going to be pretty obvious who uses it, but they're not the ones who are using it right, anyway. I couldn't have told you what program he used if he hadn't said anything. Why would you think about that kind of stuff when listening to a song, and then judge the song differently because of it? If the song stinks, it stinks, if it doesn't, who cares how it was made? Great job, Chupa.

  • FTF : Loved the double bass. ;) Majority of people who use FL studio, you can really tell that it is FL (which is the reason I stopped using it ages ago), but you seem to break from the norm and actually make some good tunes with it. Do you sequence it all in FL?

  • Chupathingy : I used a combination of FamiTracker and FL Studio to make this. Also I used Drum Kit From Hell on it. That's where the drums came from. Also, used a freeware synth called Tapeworm to simulate a Melotron synth.
