  • CNLohr : Man, I feel bad it's taking me until now to get back to all these old compositions. I really like your slow stuff. This one totally made my /best of/ list, a lot because it's a style I just don't see too much here.

  • smiletron : for some reason it reminds me of the Moldy Peaches. but i liked this, and i dont like the moldy peaches. good job.

  • STOLENSIGN : Autotune! It'd be bad ass on this.

  • firebrandboy : @Ursalazr good close mic technique WILL isolate the vocal. well, it'll certainly be infinitely superior to its current incarnation.

  • 8bitglider : thank you!

  • Locusust : I really, really enjoyed this. I recon you should make the drums a little louder and prehaps pick up another louder melody towards the end. 4/5 and downloaded

  • Ursalazr : this is really impressive. i would suggest using a gate on your microphone, along with deadening your room, as well. the close miking techniques could work, as well, though I feel that getting the dryest recording possible will help during mixing and such. keep it up, it's great.

  • firebrandboy : yeah, this sounds really nice but like talktoanimals suggested, the vocal delivery would be better if they were isolated. however, i think some close miking techniques might help more than deadening the room. might be worth having a search for some tutorials. lets hear some more!

  • TALKTOANIMALS : The microphone would work fine if you just make some sort of fort of blankets or get behind a mattress or something, that way you won't get all of that background noise. Maybe add a tiny bit of distortion or reverb to make it fit in with the song a little bit better.

  • Miniclash : Definetely needs a better microphone. I like it a lot. Not unlike Au Revoir Simone. Which is COOL .

  • retroboytimo : the timing could be a bit better for the vocals, and a litte effect to it would be great! but the song overall is a great idea!

  • vickystooties : nice voice and lyrics. i think the vocals could have been a little louder. other than that it was beautiful.
