  • MattWilson : NEUTRALITE for example has some very grinding, gutteral leads (this is a compliment!), but through some sort of sorcery it's punchy, warm, and not muddy at all. I dunno, I think he's a warlock.

  • MattWilson : To be honest this composition doesn't exactly lend itself to a clean or punchy mix, so maybe you gave yourself more work than you really needed to do. It's a very harsh song with low octave chords and notes running into each other. You might want to listen to some of Disasterpeace's older material, it deals in some harsh tones but is mixed/EQ'd very well.
