  • xgoggsx : nah, not even close to vector stuff, too choppy, waaaayyy to pixelated for vector stuff, and the gradients wouldnt look that bad on vector stuff, looks like it would be cooler without the after effects, they kinda make it look cheesy

  • NOROCK : dude how do you not know what vector art is. that's where you use a pen tool or whatever, "vectors", instead of editing actual pixels, or "raster". anything in paint is raster, there's no vector anything in that program, especially no antialiasing which this picture has TONS of. what they're saying is that there's no way you took that much time antialiasing the lines yourself. vectors are in programs like photoshop, fireworks, etc. and since they are coordinate-based instead of pixel based they can be resized without losing quality (gradients are redrawn, line thicknesses are increased/decreased, etc.) whereas enlarging raster images will result in some kind of distortion. but seriously go to wikipedia i shouldn't have to tell you this. how did you make this for real?
