nitro2k01 : Those songs that were designed for live mode, I record in live mode. I never re-arrange live songs for song mode.
As for the weirdness/abstractness: The reason I arrange it this way is that when poking around with the song, I want to be able to go to the song screen and press start and know that the chains will go well together. And when they do, I move one line down and create a new phrase or clone an old one.

Linkup : Great. I wouldn't want to hear it for a really long time, though. Would be great in a game. It has a kind of cyber-dungeon-level feel to it, if that makes any sense. I like it, though.

kidgamma : this cover is really great. it's easy to tell what it's covering, but obviously doesn't sound too similar (because it's a gb). the "instruments" you use are very well crafted, and the feel of the song is nice. like it doesn't feel too rigid or restricted, it's got the right reggae-punk vibe. but it's a tad long, and i understand there's alot of variation you want to fit in, but seven minutes for a chiptune is a bit long, i actually thought i had it on repeat until 3:30
