Started playing with music software on a first gen Commodore 64 when I was 4 back in the early 80's (I think just enjoyed the noises back then!) Moved onto a Commodore Amiga in 1991 - then to PC tracking (GUS) in 1993. Started playing with "fake" chip sounding tunes from 1995 - took a break for a few years and did the techno thing with synths - then moved to early VSTi and hated the latency and lack of a tactile surface. Got all nostelgic one morning in 2000 and bought a C64 for $2, took a deep breath, and started writing tunes and programming the SID chip. Last year I was lent a Gameboy DMG + LSDJ cart and I gotta say it's becoming an addiction! Crazy little sucker. I will post my chip work here over time as I convert them and also upload new tunes when I get time. Enjoy! :-) - cTrix ps. cTrix : Nice work man. Love your tracks!! "This song is copyrighted, the license information below is void" -- Terms of service you agree to when submitting are (cc) BY-NC-SA! By putting it up here, you've voided your Copyright. You can, however, advise you release your track as a promotional preview under the "Creative Commons BY-NC-ND" License - which is what I release all my tracks under. Much more suited licence in my view. Basically means free to copy and distribute that version of the track (for non-profit) but not able to be adapted, performed or remixed without your written permission. If you mix the album version slightly differently and add some notes, then THAT would be eligible for a Copyright licensing scheme. (cc) BY-NC-ND is better than Copyright for promo in my view as it is not as crazy as (c) but not as loose as (cc) BY-NC-SA. Just I thought I'd advise this to ya. :-)

cTrix : vonWolfehaus: You've probably got your game out by now, but I don't think this track would compress down very well into flash. Chip music is terrible at squishing into small sizes! Hope the game is doing well tho. ||
CODEC: Hopefully I'll have an album with maaaaybe some of this on at some point later in the year. We will be offering a near lossless option. ;-)

Square Two : Yeah - I know - I've been way way busy at work and now I've got time I have to give the DMG I've been borrowing off Celcuis BACK to him for a while so he can work on some stuff. I was supposed to mod up a DMG last week but something random happened instead. Am trying to get something by the start of April if I can...

cTrix : So many anthems on this release! lol. Was a pleasure to work on Mr 10k (BTW, the vocals were remic'ed though a Marshall guitar amp via two overdriven valve pre-stages and fed back into the mix. Mega fun.)
