Thom Uliasz and Justin Emerson have been experimenting with electronic music together as Burnkit2600 since 1997. The duo have created unique sonic architecture by combining circuit-bending and other instrument modifying techniques with more traditional electronic music elements.
Brett Marshall Lefferts of Seed A.I. recently joined the group, bringing his mastery of melodic 8-bit video game sounds to the mix.
Burnkit2600 is planning the release of their new album ‘This is the Sound’
due out in August 2008. They will also be featured on an upcoming 8-bit Operators compilation.

Disasterpeace : interesting combination of styles. I like the contrast between the arpeggios and the percussion. I can't help but be reminded of the Gorillaz, whom I love 8-) . Those vocal sounds in the background really help create a spooky vibe.
