Wizwars : @Sundown Syndrome: This is an old mix of the song, guitar is a bit louder in the 'final' mix that's on the "A Chip Off The Shizz Block" compilation CD. But I'm going to re-record this at some point with better guitars (maybe even a lead track?), bass and possibly drums (if not, realistic sounding sequenced drums, which I've already tried out and sound fucking nice). "Fly Away" at this point is one of two side projects I'm working on, or will be working on in the future.

Wizwars : I need to re-do this song at some point. I love the melodies and the ideas but I was still a total LSDJ n00b and had no idea what I was doing so I think there are a number of areas in which it falls flat (especially percussion).

Wizwars : Yes there is a bit of a Bit Shifter influence. The idea for the rhythm in the pre-chorus sections was kind of inspired by "Hexadecimal Genome". Basically when I started writing this song I wanted to do something that was happy, highly energetic and inspirational and I could apply those same descriptions to a lot of Bit Shifter's music, plus I was listening to a lot of "The Information Chase" at the time so I'm not surprised the influence shines though. Was kind of unintentional though, I didn't pick it up until I was re-listening to the song later.

Wizwars : I love this song. I think out of the three you sent me for that comp it was easily my favorite, sad that it didn't make it on there, definitely a shame.
