About Riot Robotico
"Riot Robotico" was born in 1982 in at that time still splitted Berlin. It wasn't long until he discovered how to make Sounds on his Chimes and electric piano. Soon he learned to play the guitar and joined a choir for about six years. It was through these musical activities he trained his singing voice and obtained knowledge about harmonics and song structure. Often people saw him as a child banging on pots and pans, later drumming on the window-sill at school. He then developed his own kind of beatbox, with which he often annoyed his teachers, who questioned "Whos Walkman is this???". He has always been interested in rhythm, this is why he never passed the oppurtunity to play on a drumkit. In his early childhood "Riot Robotico" discovered electronic music. That's why he started his Techno project under his name "Bassbottle" a few years later. Meanwhile you’ll find "Bassbottle" on vinyl and cd while still rocking the mp3 download lists. Also he plays live as dj in front of a wild dancing and screaming crowd. But he also always loved the tunes from the Commodore 64 he played with in his childhood, like later the sounds of his GameBoy, which influenced him a lot. Later when he discovered how to get those sounds and to make that kind of music, he tried programming little 8-bit-like tracks. "Riot Robotico" is a project not only for chip-tunes, but here you're able to listen to them. Enjoy and have fun!
