Plexii : lol , Mandriva 09 was foremost in my mind when I referenced jungle / animal sounds.
I haven't used lmms for some time but after listening to this again it does sound very much like the “organics” instrument package with the llama icon if I remember correctly. I'm actually a bit surprised you had lmms running in Mandriva functionally enough to produce this so well. You say you paid for the OS disc, does the bought version include a real time kernel? I've heard of the power pack but thought that was essentially just a membership for unlimited customer support or something along those lines.

Plexii : Is this an existent theme song you are covering from the original Mandrake release or did you write it in honor of Mandriva? Both of the distributions I've had on my box just made a bunch of weird jungle sounding type noises after booting. It's a lovely song in any case. For that matter, if this was the theme they should have kept using it, rather than than the short blast of animal yelling noises they currently use......
