  • Jredd : Very interesting first track. It's better than some first songs I hear on here. Kudos for actually doing much more than making a small loop and putting "My first lsdj" in all caps in the title :P. The programing in the instruments are pretty cool, I like your noise programing and the variation there. The nice slide leads are cool too. The one thing about the song I found a little odd, is when you take that looping phrase of notes and keep shifting it higher and higher while the bass stays the same and use that as a transition. I thought it was interesting, but the fact that a method like this can make things clash together musically when you have things playing in completely different key signatures is something to consider. Still, over all this wasn't a bad first song at all and it's head and shoulders above some firsts I have heard so you should be proud. The feeling of the song is a bit goofy, but I have a feeling you'll continue to improve rapidly. Keep at it and feel free to post your next song in my forums again and I'll try to help if I can. :)
