Szliszka, Dr. Zoltán Vaszil (*27XX) - Former member of the galactic council, where he tried to enforce his law of 'one voice' but was repeatedly rejected by majority vote. Frustrated, he vowed to 'make them pay, make all of them pay' and abandoned his seat. ***** Recently, a large space craft under control of Dr. Szliszka arrived out of nowhere at the outer rim of the solar system, hailing earth on all frequencies and threatening to destroy it unless an insane amount of gold would be payed. Brave Captain Sievert faced the foe against all odds, and encouraged, the earth fleet took action. ***** After long and furious battle, a huge explosion filled the sky. Szliszka's station was gone, but so was contact with earth's greatest hero. Half of the terran fleet was caught in the explosion, and minutes later messages from all over the galaxy arrived: It all had been a fiendish plot by Szliszka, luring the federate forces to his stations which turned out to be nothing but giant bombs. Our troops, our hero, our hopes... all seems lost. ***** One week later, the terrible consequences became appearent when Dr. Szliszka disbanded the galactic council. He proclaimed himself Emperor of the Galaxy, vowing to destroy all who oppose him. To prove his point, he destroyed Rigel 5 with all its 8 billion inhabitants with some kind of ray weapon. Fearing a similar fate, the federation has accepted Szliszka's status as Emperor. An age of dread and despair was ahead... ***** But suddenly, inexplicably, a ray of hope appeared on the (event-)horizon above the supermassive black hole in the galactic core. Emperor Szliszka's stronghold was under attack, by no other than stalwart Captain Sievert! Back from the dead with a vengeance, he threw everything in his power against the fearful foe. ***** But the adversary had not idled in the meantime, gathering forces upon forces to make our hero's task a difficult one. Once again threatening to undo earth, Captain Sievert has to fight both numbers and the clock, lest it would be all in vain. A final confrontation is destined to happen soon.
