  • DaPantz : Yeah, everything Don said is exactly what I feel. Gorgeous work, my friend.

  • nordloef : Love your work man. I second the idea of t-shirts.

  • Kris Keyser : yeah, u know what? this is badass. to hell with all the pics of people's studios and their "first pixel art!". maybe it's a lot all at once but to be honest, i wish that the images section featured more stuff made with 8-bit hardware and less stuff made by kids with pixelation filters in photoshop. you just gave the image section a dose of exactly what it needs. kudos to you, and BTW your scarf idea was genius.

  • NO CARRIER : You know I love this shit. Also, please keep "flooding". If I see one more custom painted DMG picture I might punch a hole in the wall.

  • little-scale : excellent work.

  • glomag : these are beautiful Jeff. i like the idea of doing this with software, but the conceptualist in me likes the idea of what hardware bending adds to this.

  • Starscream|Damon : hey man can we expect more Scarves or other noteNdo apparel any time soon?
    on February 2nd 2009, 09:43 PM
  • badsquirrel : NICE! this is true Johnny Beverly 1989! original shit - been loving it since i first saw you play in like... 2004? love it!

  • noteNdo : L-tron, thank you very much. I had no idea this forum was geared toward gameboy gear shots - I imagine that people don't understand what they're looking at either. For what it's worth, I've been getting a real kick out of all this negativity. It's hilarious. Haters - these are still images that were created with a NES (yep, YOUR sweet, sweet precious) that has been modified to generate patterns from original game cartridges. These 11 were generated with Mike Tyson's Punch Out! (the original one where Tyson is actually in the game and really quite beatable). Non-Haters - Thank you for all your kind words and support!

  • L-tron : Sorry for the harsh post everyone. I can see why you wouldn't want someone to upload tons of pics. I guess it just bothered me when people kept echoing that over and over cause it would make me feel kinda bad had it been my work and people were just being negative.

  • L-tron : Friggin amazing stuff! its cool to see people uploading more visuals I'd rather have you upload a bunch of pics than be forced to look at some lame pictures of someones gameboy collection or their "studio". Keep up the awesome art. Man, to everyone else, I dunno why you're bitching? Most of the pics uploaded to 8bc are exactly what Henryhomesweet said in his comment. I'm pretty sure that NoteNdo understood when the first 10 people posted "dont upload more pics dood". Like he really needs 10 more people echoing the same thing? Also everyone always bitches when people upload NON chip-related pictures and here's an awesome visual artist posting up some badass stuff and people would rather look at some kids gameboy collection. I don't get it. anyhow, sorry for the rant and whining/anger . Awesome work NoteNdo! :)

  • enso : Beautiful. I wish I could see this in action.
    on February 2nd 2009, 08:16 PM
  • Ursalazr : just because it comes off of an NES doesn't necessarily mean it's relevant. but i like this, really cool stuff.
    on February 2nd 2009, 08:14 PM
  • Starscream|Damon : I like this new cynical henryhomesweet.
    on February 2nd 2009, 07:53 PM
  • henryhomesweet : oh no, this guy is taking up all the space and knocking off off those valuable important pictures of the custom gameboys and the obsessive nuby light collections and the photoshopped self portraits and the pokemon and the hideously priced pink dmg someone got off ebay that he cant wait to use with his new lsdj that is coming through the post and other such seriously useless shit *cries*
    on February 2nd 2009, 07:35 PM
  • SeanBad : yea dont take conor seriously anyways, these are awesome!
    on February 2nd 2009, 04:23 PM
  • noteNdo : actually thought these would just get uploaded to my profile ... live and learn ...
    on February 2nd 2009, 04:20 PM
  • noteNdo : big thanks to the positivity guys! wondering what's up though, looks like everything from the past 4 days is still on page one ... oh well, didn't intend to bump anyone.
    on February 2nd 2009, 04:18 PM
  • Focus Punch! : All these images are awesome. Your bumping other people's images off the submission board though..
    on February 2nd 2009, 04:13 PM
  • Starscream|Damon : Yo Jeff- Don't worry about these guys. All this shit looks really rad by the way
    on February 2nd 2009, 04:09 PM
  • DYNABLADE : i like it fuck what everyone else says, keep em comin :p
    on February 2nd 2009, 03:09 PM
  • giveupnewyork : Very cool work man! I'm sorry to have to say the same thing as everyone else, but you may want to space out your uploads a bit more.
    on February 2nd 2009, 02:05 PM
  • failotron : no offense man, i'm completley in love with your works, and i still bang my head in the wall for missing one of your European workshops, but the guys are right about this flooding of yours... it just pushes this days other submissions from the main site, not letting them to be watched more.
    on February 2nd 2009, 01:50 PM
  • Odori : no, i love the images, just i don't like other peoples work being hidden. i put my point across quite bluntly, and i maybe shouldn't of been as obnoxious, but you coulda easily made them into an animated gif in PS. just giving advice, cause i know it pisses other people off too.
    on February 2nd 2009, 01:48 PM
  • noteNdo : My apologies to anyone that has been offended, confused or otherwise by uploading 11 images. I was unaware there was any sort of protocol or quota to uploads as I do not frequent this board. To answer questions so far, these are still images that were captured from an actual NES. These were uploaded to share with what seemed to be an online 8bit community but the caliber of responses here has proved differently.

  • Beware : Yeah, srsly cut the shit. It's rude and completely unnecessary.
    on February 2nd 2009, 01:21 PM
  • Odori : kinda gay, why not make them into a moving gif. instead of being a douche and hiding other peoples work?
    on February 2nd 2009, 01:20 PM
  • mateusz : all pics are fine and shit, but why to post so many of them at once? Its kinda boring...its from NES are those a pics taken from some kind of nice visual or a still images displayed on the screen?
    on February 2nd 2009, 01:10 PM
  • Popsicle Theory : damn. don't upload so much nonsense.
