kitsch : nope..... it runs off the batteries in the DMG itself. well, two of them to be exact (3VDC). so, its completely stand-alone. no wall-wart or anything. it could if you wanted it to though... and save the DMGs batteries a little bit...

White Circuit : so, you have to have it hooked up to the wall for the back light to work?

kitsch : its just electroluminescent film. well, a panel/sheet, whatever you want to call it. it runs on AC power, not DC like the gameboy, so an inverter is needed to convert the DC from the batteries in the GB in to AC for the panel. it all fits on the inside of the DMG though...

kitsch : either... my intentions are to this in it form, as well as pre-made for those who don't care for DIY. also, i'll do a tutorial when I can get to it, and it will have the BOM in it, if people want to get all the supplies themselves.

hardrocknamigo : fuck yes. is this something we will be able to do at home or will we have to buy premade?
