2001 glomag and Bubblyfish Live

holy shit is this an old picture. Check out the book lights we were using! HAHA! We had two Nanoloop 1.0 carts in those gameboys and mine crashed at the end of this song- total data loss. It was a good track too, "Letter To The World", which we re-wrote at least twice after a few more crashes over the following years.

  • epichunt : awesome, for my first performance (a cover of north star, the minimalist piece), i used a booklight on top of my greenboy to see as I turned the lights off in my classroom for atmoshphere- so youre not alone there, glomag!:)

  • glomag : those are "booklights." At the time I had never seen a Nuby light. Soon after this we graduated to the big fluorescent lights that we have in other pictures.

  • glomag : And... I lied. That yellow cart in my Classic did not crash that night and is a 1.1 cart. It only died recently at Mutek! It was the next song after this picture was taken that the old 1.0 cart I had died.

  • glomag : Sorry for the sideways image.
