Album art idea

Just a simple and minimal album art idea. The cardboard sleeve looks like a 5.25 floopy disk with the holes cut out to expose the CD label. The CD has multi-coloured bands on it that represent the disk sectors that show through the sleeve. There, nice and minimal and relevent to 8-bit =D

argent s : oh i see . . . that makes a lot more sense. in that case i see no problem's with it, though it might be a pain to get cases made like that. it'd sure look great though!

benanderson89 : 1) 8BW isn't the only person to do this ya know... many people have used the floppy disk idea in the past waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before 8BW (Blue monday, fatboyslim etc) 2) This is a 3D mock up of the album cover and the CD ya know... NOT THE ACCTUAL INSERT. The floppy disk in the picture IS THE CASE which is 5.25" square.

argent s : i think it's a really nice design, but i see alex_mauer's point too. you might want to try to differentiate it a bit from 8bit weapon somehow. also, i would make it in more of a square frame as that's what album art usually is (otherwise people might not recognize it as album art). good job so far though!

alex_mauer : i suggest not actually making this... as it is too similar to "8bit weapons" CD's
