  • Thretris : YES! everyone asking me how to do this, I will no longer post a tutorial, cause I basically did exactly what bibin does in his new tutorial.. so go check it out.

  • Bibin : I made a guide, it's in the tutorial section.

  • Thretris : @newbanZo: ha! Thanks... and it a bit of the basics from Bibin's and Nonfinite's tuts, but for the most part, I came up with it myself. the soldering is in different spots even.

  • technic : arfink: o said neogeo pocket! not neogeo pocket color. i know that in NGPC we could only make a frontlight. i allready done bakclight in my neogeo pocket. it looks great!

  • smiletron : i could go for some of this action. tute plz
    on December 8th 2009, 05:33 AM
  • arfink : How could you have possibly backlit a NeoGeo Pocket?? Se, that's fishy to me, because it has a display which is IMPOSSIBLE to backlight, just like GBC. You can only really frontlight it.

  • technic : i made a backlight in neogeo pocket. i used a nonfinite light panel. this Gameboy pocket looks pretty good, what kind of resistor is used in this project?
    on December 8th 2009, 02:28 AM
  • arfink : See, I knew you might be able to do this, but I don't like his backlight kits to begin with, for reasons I won't get into here. Also, you need to find a way to mount this so the light comes from the top, so you don't see blotches and don't get blinded. And, win with the red in there, it's a good color for working in the dark. ;)
