My prefered setup 2009...

Five years ago I had tons of gear including - Korg Electribe EMX, ER-1 EA-1, Roland MC-505, EG-101, TR-606, TB-303 ,DR-202. Quasimidi Rave-o-lution, Yamaha RM1X. now most of that is gone and this is what i prefer to compose with.

  • Groovemaster303 : Around the end of 2005 I started to make the move towards software due to lack of space after moving house. Software seemed so much more practical for me, setting up was also much easier. Slowly, one by one i started selling off my gear, only have a couple of pieces left now... I regret it now as nothing beats the feeling of true real-time control on hardware. For the first time in a long time though i'm looking at buying some new hardware to play around with, possibly the MC-909 or MC-808.

  • Groovemaster303 : I've also got a 61 key E-MU, but this is much easier to use alongside my laptop.
