Fuck. L-tron's right: that red shit looks awesome but also tough to make out.  Maybe Jose's reverse polarization suggestion would do the trick.  Exciting stuff nonetheless!

Mods are now up at the shop, along with a tweaked interface that will make selecting color options and such a bit easier.

I will TRY to get DIY kits and the tutorial up today.  Key word here is try.  Very thin on time guys, please be patient.

Piglet, these are edge-lit LED type backlight modules, very similar to modules found in cell phones, PDAs... pretty much any modern product using an LCD.

Essentially, it's the same exact concept as earlier versions, just done much more effectively and economically.
