Haha, I love how he nicks a song from Random and calls the song Random Strange Places. What a dick.
The two I mentioned are by Random and Combatdave respectively.
Others may be stolen that I don't recognise. Some may not be though.

Anticlimax has informed me that Mr Turbo Sailor is a Wiklund song.

so is that his own song?

Wow... that video of him pretending to play along with the Random track is really upsetting. Though it is pretty funny when he falls on his ass.
The fact that he's getting shows pisses me off.

The song in this video is Sitges Savepoint by Random. It's on the Bad Joke EP. From the looks of it, all he's doing in that video is running his hand on a kaoss pad and adding weird squelchy sounds to it. Toolbag.

lol he falls completely on his ass in that video, KARMAS A BITCH

I can't hear anything on his player since I can't upgrade my flash player at work, but what are the track names so I can be specific in my message to Myspace? (My work PC is weird, I can watch embedded Youtube vids but I can't listen to Myspace's Flash player.)

It's time to get creative. They have booked two shows, one at the Oklahoma Video Game Exhibition and the other at a place called Sauced.

I am sending this letter to both. I urge you to do the same. Please write your own letters though, it makes it more effective to see many outraged people. This will send more of a message than simply shouting at him on myspace.
Hello sir/madam,
My name is Garry. In the chipmusic community I am known as Sycamore Drive. I am writing to you to inform you that one of the acts you have booked (TV Death Squad - myspace.com/tvdeathsquad) are thieves, and the music they plan to play at your annual event is the work of real hardworking 8-bit musicians. The songs on their myspace page "I Am A Pirate", "Random Strange Places" and "Mr Turbo Sailor" are the works of artists Combat Dave, Random and Wiklund respectively.
I'm not sure how you yourself feel about piracy, but it seems to be of a constant issue within the chipmusic community possibly as a byproduct of free sharing ideals and actually coming together as a community to help new artists to make their own compositions. The discovery of TV Death Squad's theft has already started a thread and a myspace campaign to eventually get their profile removed.

I hope that as video games enthusiasts yourselves, you will take issue with their theft and swiftly remove them from your event.
Thank you for both your time and your support of video games in general. It means a lot that this means as much to you as it does to me.
Garry Lee

Wow, that's really fucking dumb.
He's using other people's music, AND getting shows.
Looks like he's pretty popular.
Alternate angle from the previous video...
Now I'm no authority... but I wouldn't call that a 'show'
It might as well be in some dudes bedroom, lol!

Actually in that video it looks like he's literally just sliding his fingers across the keys. Anyone wanna make a "Shredz" video for this good guy?

It'd be awesome if we all attended one of his "shows" together and remained completely silent throughout and after his performance.

Haha I'd actually love to see someone in the audience stand up after he finished playing Sitges Savepoint and then play it back to him through a boombox.
EDIT: or through a Game Boy.... hmmm...

Just downloaded it for such purposes.
You have to admit though, he's quite talented at playing that keyboard, he was playing it with no hands at some points!
